"Missouri"
I recently completed a picture story about Lillian-Grace Misko, Missouri’s 2011 State Honey Queen. During her year as Honey Queen, she travels around the state on behalf of bees, honey, and beekeepers, giving presentations at schools and garden clubs and setting up tables at farmer’s markets. Honey bees are incredible creatures and I learned a ton about bees while photographing Lillian.
