I’m traveling up to the Bay Area with my folks for my brother’s wedding. Very exciting. Will be camping the first night in Half Moon Bay with the wedding party. Let’s hope I don’t loose the wedding rings before the ceremony starts.

Andy Clockwise

Andy Clockwise performed at the Troubadour on Tuesday, July 13th. It was a pity there wasn’t a larger audience as the show was amazing. I’m now definitely a fan.

Dum Dum Girls
Crocodiles

This was by far the most fun I’ve had shooting a band in a long time. Crocodiles opened for Dum Dum Girls last week at The Echo and put on a fantastic show, but there was no light on stage. [...]

Tijuana Panthers

Tijuana Panthers opened for The Like at The Troubadour on Saturday and they were amazing. It really felt like the crowd had never heard them before but were completely won over by the end of their set. One of my [...]

The Like

The Like performed at The Troubadour last Saturday to celebrate the release of their new record Release Me (which is quite good by the way and I suggest you check it out). The show was a knock out: entertaining, fun, [...]

Real Estate

Real Estate headlined the Woodsist Fest both in Big Sur and when they played the Echo/Echoplex on Tuesday, June 15. Real Estate is one of those rare bands that takes a promising record and delivers a live show to remember [...]

The Union Line

The Union Line opened on Monday, June 14 for We Barbarians at Spaceland, giving a heartwarming and uplifting performance. The Union Line are one of my favorite local bands that, for the most part, still seems undiscovered. I have no [...]

The Henry Clay People

The Henry Clay People are friends, and it’s a pleasure to see them release their new record on a major label. They performed at Spaceland on June 8th to celebrate it’s release and I took a few pictures. The Henry [...]

The XX

In all honesty I was expecting a lackluster show from The XX but they really impressed. Obviously the songs are there but I was worried that it wouldn’t translate and keep the audience engaged, but it wasn’t an issue. You [...]

LCD Soundsystem

Last Friday I was at The Palladium snapping pictures of LCD Soundsystem who played a couple of my favorite tracks, “All My Friends” and “New York I Love You”. You can see my photos in my archives at the link [...]

Leslie and the Badgers

I was at the Fonda last night to photograph Roky Erickson and was pleased to catch Leslie and the Badgers who were opening the show. It was nice to finally see them perform for the first time after having heard [...]

Nobunny

On April 22 I got the chance to shoot Japandroids and No Bunny (pictured above) at The Echoplex. FYF Fest was putting on the show and Videothing was doing some awesome projections throughout both sets. Both bands were incredible. You [...]

Avi Buffalo

I had the pleasure to hang out with indie all stars Avi Buffalo at their video shoot for their first single “What’s In It For” from their self titled, debut album that came out last week on Sub Pop. It [...]
